New Edit from WIDSIX

John Roope from WIDSIX has thrown together an edit using footage of me from this winter. Check it out!

…and some footage from yesterday. Too much whip!

Stunning sunset.

Tonight I witnessed one of the most gorgeous sunsets I’ve ever seen while living in the Sea to Sky, and we have a lot of stunning sunsets! Here are some of the photos I snapped.

Thank you boys for an awesome day!

Tailgate BC, Published shots in The Ski Journal and Pow footy!

I just got back from Tailgate BC 2 days ago, where I was doing coverage for The article is now online at:

Head on over and check it out for complete photos and write up!

I also had 2 photos published in The Ski Journal 5.2 for a story about Gaper Day 2011 at Whistler Blackcomb.

Yesterday marked 3ft of snowfall in 3 days at Whistler Blackcomb, and I met up with friends Jameson Florence, Tobin Seagel and Dave Gheriani to bomb so pow laps. Here is some raw GoPro footage shot entirely with the new Hero 2 Camera that I threw together. Warning: Contains excessive pole whacking, awkward noises, debris tagging and complete whiteout.

Blue-Bird Brappin’ and Snow Shoot 2012 with On Snow Magazine

The last few days of February were phenomenal. We were blessed with endless blower pow and some blue bird days, which meant time to break out the camera! Here are some shots from that week, and a few video clips.

“No Fun was had today whatsoever”

I had the pleasure of attending Snow Shoot 2012 with On Snow Magazine this past week. Snow Shoot is a week of product testing of all the 2013 prototype snowmobiles from all 4 major manufactuters in West Yellowstone Montana. This was my first time to Snow Shoot, and first time ever to Montana. I’d like to thank the photographers James Lissimore, and Jim, along with the guys from On Snow Magazine for having me down there for such an amazing experience! Here are a few shots I snapped from around town…

It had puked in West Yellowstone before we arrived and everything was all snowed in.

A truck towing two running snowmobiles… on the road no less.

A snowed in motel across the street from us.

The Stagecoach Inn.

Some of the Wildlife in the Lobby.

This store had the most amazing collection of Wolf shirts ever.

You bet I bought one. Pure awesomeness on a t-shirt, what more could you ever want?

James trying out the mini-sled.

Teen Wolf Makes an appearance.

Gorgeous lighting while shooting.

Snowbeard’s Revenge & Avalanche Safety.

Vera Janssen put together an Avalanche safety video using some footage I shot with her last winter. It includes guest appearances from local riders Kalle Johansson and Grant Clarke, and is shot locally around Whistler.

This past weekend I got out with my favorite accountants and here are some of the photos from the radness than ensued.

Snow in the beard means the getting is good.

Manpack base camp.

You wish you were having this much fun.

Reboot button.

It would seem mother nature hit the reboot button here in Whistler yesterday with a vengeance!

I got out sled-skiing with my favorite weekend warriors, my accountant buddies from Vancouver. We were not disappointed with what we found.

I’d like to thank Wade at RSI racing for the new bars and risers! They’re working out awesome!

A big thank you to Dave at Cheetah Factory Racing as well, for the new Double D rack with the dual ski set up. Nothing else compares!

Here’s a short video I took while waiting for the sun to poke out for ski laps.

Shots published in “Pleasure Magazine”

Pleasure Magazine ran two photos I took of Vera Janssen last year on one of the sickest sled-ski days I’ve ever had, and one of them was run full page!

Here’s the other shot (black and white).
